Russian, Ukrainian and Lithuanian school in Ipswich and Colchester

Education and Development Centre “Lingua” is a supplementary school in Ipswich and Colchester for  children and young people aged 3 – 18 years old.

The school teaches Russian, Ukrainian, Lithuanian, French and Spanish languages and include:

  • Literacy, reading, writing
  • Russian Literature (reading, rhetoric), Lithuanian Literature, Ukrainian Literature
  • Foundations of Russian culture, Lithuanian and Ukrainian culture
  • Exercises on the development of logic
  • Phonetic exercises
  • Drawing and fundamentals of folk crafts
  • Music
  • Theatre
  • Art and Craft

Lessons in Russian and drama classes are held every Sunday (during school terms) from 10.00am till 2.00pm in Ipswich and every Saturday (during school terms) from 10.00am till 1.00pm in Ipswich (Lithuanian classes) and in Colchester (Russian and Ukrainian, Art and Craft,) drama classes (Colchester, Chelmsford) during working days.

We are pleased to provide classes for students preparing to sit GCSE and A-level Russian exams. Classes are taught by a professional linguist with extensive experience working with children.

We also provide classes for beginners and advanced (Russian) for adults.

We offer distance learning Russian Language lessons for children aged 8 – 18 from September 2017.
